§00 Work at Edmund 2 open positions

We got our hands “dirty” on the shop floor. Now we're building the debugging platform we always wished for.

Value before perfection. We ship things customers can use, then improve them.

Move with urgency, never at the cost of quality.

Plain language in product UI, in code review, in customer mail. Czech reads as Czech.

Cite your source. Edmund does it in product output; we do it in roadmap arguments.

Three founders, fifteen engineers, split between an Ostrava HQ and a Prague office.

Travel to customer plants a few times a year. We book the tickets.

Learn fast, fix fast, back each other up. No brilliant jerks.

/01 · How we work

The person who designs a feature is also the person who deploys it and answers the support thread when it breaks. We do not throw specs over walls.

We do not hire people whose primary job is to manage handoffs between people who could just talk.

Edmund only gets better by sitting next to a maintenance technician at the end of a 12-hour shift. The product cannot be designed from a desk in Prague alone.

Expect a few trips per year to a customer site. We book the train tickets without making a fuss.

Edmund's job is to tell a maintenance engineer where its answer came from, down to the page of the PLC manual. We hold ourselves to the same bar in code review and roadmap arguments.

"I think" is fine. "I think because X" is better.

We are pre-seed and we ship every week. We also commit to customers for years. A feature that ships this quarter has to still run on a packaging line in 2029.

That tension is the job.

Our customers run plants in Czech, German, Polish, and English. So does our product UI and our weekly internal notes.

Jargon hides decisions and translates badly. One boring sentence beats three clever ones.

The challenge

Edmund is a debugging platform for manufacturing. One hour of downtime can cost up to €1M, and 45 minutes of that hour go to diagnosis. Edmund brings diagnosis down to a few minutes.

We solve a real problem, we have found product-market fit, and now we are building the go-to-market team that will take us to €10M ARR. We are looking for a senior person to take over their market (Germany, Poland, Czechia or Slovakia), close enterprise deals and help us build the sales motion for the colleagues who come next.

The role is full-time, and you can work hybrid or on-site. Prague is the base for sales, and you meet customers at their plants. During onboarding you spend time with us in Prague and Ostrava. After that, the team meets at the Ostrava office once a month for teambuilding. Joining is optional, except once a quarter, when it is required.

You are measured on gross new ARR, the self-sourced share of your pipeline, the playbook iterated for your market, and your first solo close without the founder in the room.

To apply, send your CV and a few lines about yourself to info@edmundai.com. We will get back to you and talk about how you could join.

What you'll do
  • Run the full sales cycle: from your own pipeline through discovery, demos and negotiation to the signed contract.
  • Close deals on your own, without a founder at every meeting.
  • Bring wins and losses back to the product team and help us understand the market and the competition.
  • Test messaging, packages and pricing in live deals.
  • Grow our Seller Playbook for your market from your own deals. The base already covers how to run a demo, discovery and negotiation.
  • Meet customers at their plants across your market.
/C
This might be for you if
  • You have a proven record of selling enterprise software. Experience with manufacturers is a big plus.
  • You do not wait for ready-made leads: you build your own pipeline and take responsibility for your result.
  • You want to be measured on gross new ARR and know what it takes to hit a sales target.
  • You can run demanding multi-stage negotiations, defend the value of the product and close contracts.
  • You know MEDDPICC or a similar sales qualification framework and use it in your deals.
  • You live in Czechia, Germany, Poland or Slovakia and do not mind travelling to customer plants.
  • You speak fluent English and the language of your market.
  • You hold a category B driving licence.

Who you'll work with

Edmund is co-founded by Jakub Szlaur (CEO), Benjamin Przeczek (COO), and Miroslav Marek (CSO). All came out of years on the customer side of industrial software, including a consulting practice called Edima Solutions that gave Edmund its first plants of data. The engineering team is fifteen people today, with offices in Ostrava and a workshop together every first week of the month. Read the About page.

/04 · Don't see your role?

Write to a founder anyway.

We hire ahead of openings when we meet the right person. If you have spent your career inside packaging, automotive, or process plants, or built the kind of AI infrastructure Edmund needs, reach out and tell us what you would do.
