How we handle personal data.
This page covers the personal data Edmund collects through edmundai.com: what you send us in a form, what you enter when you book a call, and the analytics that run only with your consent.
Who is responsible

What we collect
- When you send a form, such as the contact form, a fault on the US pages, or a request for a case study or calculator PDF: your name, work email and company, and whatever else that form asks for, for example a phone number, your country, a description of your fault, or the numbers you entered in a calculator.
- When you book a call: the name, email address and time you enter in the booking calendar.
- When you allow analytics or marketing cookies: which pages you visit and what you click, your device and browser, and an approximate location derived from your IP address.
- With every visit: your IP address and browser details, which our hosting provider needs to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
Why we use it
- To answer your request, arrange the call you asked for, and send you the PDF or answer you asked for. These are steps you ask us to take before a possible contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To follow up with you about Edmund as a business contact. This is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can object at any time, and we stop.
- To measure how the site is used and how our campaigns perform, only with your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time on the cookies page.
- To deliver the site and keep it secure, which is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Who processes it for us
- HubSpot, our CRM: forms, contact records and the booking calendar. Our HubSpot account is hosted in the United States.
- Resend delivers the email that brings your form to our team.
- Cloudflare hosts this site, runs the code behind the forms and generates the PDFs.
- Google: Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads, only with your consent.
- PostHog, in its EU region: product analytics, only with your consent. Form inputs are masked in its session recordings.
- lemlist identifies which companies visit the site, only with your marketing consent.
- Cookiebot (Usercentrics) stores your consent choice.
Transfers outside the EU
HubSpot, Resend, Google and Cloudflare can process data in the United States. These transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep your contact details and messages while we are in contact with you about Edmund. When that ends, or when you ask us to, we delete them, unless the law requires us to keep them longer, for example in accounting records. Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in each tool.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your personal data, and ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict its use or send it to you in a portable format. You can object to its use for following up with you, and withdraw any consent you gave. Email info@edmundai.com: we answer within one month.
You can also complain to the Czech data protection authority, the Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů.
